Hello fellow foodies! I haven't posted anything in quite some time. Even though I've been busy in the kitchen, I've been seriously slacking with posting anything about it... my bad!
This is a dish that I've always kept in my back pocket; it's great for a quick and easy weekday meal.

The mixture of spinach, cheese, turkey and some other fabulous ingredients is like the perfect marriage full of deliciousness.
Try it out, and let me know that you think!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 150g frozen spinach, thawed & drained of all excess water
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup of feta cheese, crumbled (depends on how cheesy you want your burger!)
- 1/4 cup panko crumbs
- 1/2 tsp herb de provence
- 1/4 tsp jalepeno spice
- salt and pepper to taste
THE FIXINGS
- burger buns
- sliced red onion
- lettuce
- tomato
-more feta if you're feeling real cheesy!
DIRECTIONS
- mix together turkey, egg and spinach together in a large bowl
- add in panko and spices
- add in feta cheese, and mix together with your hands until well combined
- form mixture into 4 patties (you can stretch it to 5 if you make your burgers slightly smaller)
- Grill about 6 minutes per side or until done (you can use a BBQ or frying pan for this. OR, I opted for a George Forman grill and cooked them for about 11 minutes in total).
- top with your favourite fixings, pair with a salad of your choice, and enjoy!
Makes 4-5 burgers
